Info and Details

Bar Package Details

Open-bar packages are charged for all guests age 21 or older in the confirmed event count, including adults who do not drink alcohol. The billed adult count is the confirmed count or 25, whichever is greater. Your proposal confirms the guest-count deadline and any separate beverage pricing for guests under 21.

Specific spirits, wines, drafts, and bottled beers are confirmed in your proposal. Open-bar packages cover standard single-pour drinks. Specialty cocktails, doubles, and shots are charged separately unless expressly included in the proposal.

For the Guest-Pay Bar, the host pays the $175 service fee for three hours of bar service, including bartender staffing. Guests pay for their own drinks. Drink purchases recorded against the event count toward its food and beverage minimum; the service fee does not.

How the Food and Beverage Minimum Works

Friday and Saturday evening events require both the room fee and the stated food and beverage minimum. The minimum is a spending requirement, not an additional charge on top of qualifying purchases.

Qualifying charges include event food, billed open-bar packages, and guest-pay drinks recorded against your event. The full billed package charge counts, including the 25-adult minimum charge when fewer than 25 adults attend. Tax, gratuity, room fees, and the Guest-Pay Bar service fee do not count.

The host pays all host-billed purchases plus any shortfall between the required minimum and total qualifying charges. Guest-pay purchases count toward the minimum but are paid by the guests who order them. Qualifying purchases above the minimum are charged at their applicable prices.

Gratuity and Additional Charges

Gratuity is calculated on actual food and beverage charges, including booked bar packages and separately purchased drinks. No gratuity is charged on any food and beverage minimum shortfall. Room fees, bar service fees, and tax are excluded from the gratuity calculation. Your proposal confirms the gratuity rate and applicable tax charges.

Example for a Friday Evening Event

An Athena event with 60 guests, all age 21 or older and billed for the House Open Bar, contributes 60 × $48 = $2,880 toward the $4,000 food and beverage minimum. Another $1,120 in qualifying food or drinks meets the minimum. With the $500 room fee, the total is $4,500 before tax and gratuity, assuming all purchases are host-paid and qualifying charges total exactly $4,000.

If those same 60 adults purchase the $2,880 bar package and $800 in food, qualifying charges total $3,680. The host pays a $320 minimum shortfall plus the $500 room fee. The total remains $4,500 before tax and gratuity; gratuity is calculated on $3,680, not on the $320 shortfall or $500 room fee. If only 45 of the 60 guests are adults, the House Open Bar charge is $2,160, leaving $1,840 toward the minimum before other qualifying purchases.

Dates and Reservations

Evening events from December 26 through January 1, inclusive, use Friday–Saturday evening room fees and food and beverage minimums regardless of the day of the week. Weeks before and After Easter, Week of Saint Patrick’s Day are also subject to Weekend Pricing. Other high-demand dates are identified in your proposal before booking. Lunch events are quoted separately.

Your reservation includes the selected area, curtains, standard table setup and breakdown, an event contact, and access to the associated balconies. A signed agreement and deposit hold your date. Your proposal confirms menu selections, bar details, final guest-count deadline, payment terms, and cancellation terms.

Deposits and Cancellations

A signed event agreement and the deposit below reserve your date. The deposit is credited to your final host-paid bill; it is not an additional charge. Friday–Saturday amounts also apply to dates priced at weekend rates.

SpaceSunday–Thursday eveningsFriday–Saturday evenings
Calypso$175 deposit$600 deposit
Athena$300 deposit$1,125 deposit
Full upstairs$600 deposit25% of the quoted room fee plus food and beverage minimum

Lunch and other custom-priced events require a deposit of 25% of the sum of the quoted room fee and estimated host-paid food and beverage total, with a $175 minimum. Bar packages do not trigger a second deposit; their charges are included in the final bill. A deposit is a payment toward that bill, not a food and beverage purchase for minimum-spend calculations.

If plans change. For Athena or Calypso on Sunday–Thursday, cancellation at least 30 days before the event receives a full deposit refund; 15–29 days before receives 50%; within 14 days the deposit is retained. For Friday–Saturday, blackout dates, and full-upstairs bookings, those windows are 45 or more days for a full refund, 22–44 days for 50%, and 21 days or fewer for no refund. If Limani cancels the event, the deposit is refunded in full. Your signed agreement will confirm the event date and terms.
